GERALDINE'S GETTIN BAPTIZED!

Another great week here in below freezing weather! If you couldn't already tell, we finally have a Baptismal date set for Geraldine and Reida. The 27th of December. We set it on Thanksgiving night- it's definitely something to be Thankful for and also makes for a nice Christmas present as well. I am so excited for them - they are so ready. Apparently, she was telling all the members at the Relief Society activity how she has a baptismal date now and was inviting them to it. I Love them so much.

We also picked up a new investigator named Willy from France this week, he is super cool with some pretty crazy stories- he went through a terrorist attack in France and somehow made it out alive when the train was bombed. He has had a couple near death experiences which has helped build his faith in God so we are really excited to get to know him more and spend more time with him through sharing the Gospel. We have transfer calls this weekend, but I have already decided that I am staying here until after Geraldine's baptism- I ain't leaving this place until I see them baptized.

Sunday it was the primary program- spectacular as always. And it's so cool to hear it in a different language. It's so interesting how we can find prophets in the scriptures talking about how the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God with be brought forth by the mouth of babes- little children singing primary songs. We never realize it as kids, but we really are singing all the gospel doctrines and truths in songs. It's kinda funny when you think about it, and you can only imagine what Isaiah must have thought when he saw it in our day. Needless to say, I love the primary programs. And because it was in French, that just made it even better. The Sunday before that somebody pulled the fire alarm in Sacrament- that was a first. I forgot to mention that, so I felt inclined to say it before I forgot.

This is such an exciting time to be a member of the church- we have so many different tools and technologies at our disposal to share the Gospel with literally everyone...now if only we could get some i-pads as missionaries... hopefully by next year. Anyway, it really is the time that prophets have been looking forward to- where the Gospel is preached to everyone throughout the world. Millions of people are gonna see this "He is the Gift" and the Church has even bought out the youtube advertisement on the home page for December 7th. The work is definitely moving forward and it's marvelous to be a part of it all.

I am continually grateful for the support that y'all have received since the accident. Really, it makes my job easier as well. I look forward to telling y'all how these next few weeks go in preparation for Geraldine's Baptism! I Love y'all and have a great week! AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!!!!
